Divorce And Family Law
The end of a marriage can be a painful experience, but the work of divorce itself is largely a matter of technical details and paperwork. While some cases can only be resolved by going to court, most divorces are settled through agreements between the parties, which they reach through negotiation, mediation or arbitration. These methods are almost always less expensive than going to trial, and they give people greater control over the outcome of their cases.
I represent men and women going through divorce, helping them to reach agreement on property division, child custody, alimony and more.
Criminal charges can turn your whole future upside down. If you have been accused of a crime, it’s extremely important that you speak as soon as possible with a criminal defense lawyer.
I help people defend their rights, protect their futures and minimize the damage criminal charges can do to their personal and professional lives.
Criminal charges pose a threat to anyone’s future, but for juvenile defendants the threat is particularly stark. It’s frightening to see a threat to your future when you feel your adult life is just beginning.
Helping young people is important to me. I have worked as a volunteer for children’s causes and worked with children as a coach for many years. I bring all that experience with me when I work to help young people defend their rights in cases involving drug charges and other issues.
Educational Law And More
I also represent students, teachers and other clients in educational legal issues such as disciplinary hearings.
I represent minors as both an attorney and as a guardian ad litem, who is an appointed legal representative who speaks for a child’s best interests in court.
